Valley Square Commons is part of a mixed-use redevelopment in downtown Golden Valley at Winnetka Avenue and Golden Valley Road. The site is adjacent to a pond and Bassett Creek, as well as other housing, shops and offices in the revitalized, semi-urban area.
The 25 affordable townhomes are two-story, two and three bedroom residences situated over a common underground garage with private access to the units.  Although located in a relatively high density area, the redevelopment project maintains privacy and security for the townhome residents.

A community center is included for the townhome families’ social and educational needs. An adjacent public walkway along Bassett Creek allows for pedestrian activities and access to other amenities.
