The 517 Marquette Garage features an innovative exterior design that integrates an office building/storefront facade with a state-of-the art parking facility. The new parking ramp includes 600 tenant and public parking spaces on 11 levels, eight above grade and three below. Collaborative Design Group's project team worked closely with the client to create a design solution that unifies the adjacent office buildings with an office building and storefront. To accomplish this unique "blending" of the facility, themes were incorporated from the art nouveau tower next door resulting in a seamless flow between the office towers. A skyway connection was added years earlier to the facade entrance - an ancient Egyptian motif. The remaining portion of the historically significant sandstone entrance was carefully restored and preserved.
