The Amundson Hall, Molecular Materials Addition and Remodeling includes approximately 17,000 sf of new facilities and 4,300 sf of remodeled space for the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Sciences. Included in the addition are theoretical and computational laboratories, wet chemistry laboratories, office and conference spaces. Building code and fire alarm upgrades were also included along with the addition of a sprinkler system.Computational labs were designed for computer oriented theorists. Chemistry labs accommodate research and experimentation with polymers, soft materials, ceramics and materials theory.
