Outstanding views of the Mississippi River are maximized by the unusual layout of this building. The plan incorporates a pinwheel form, signifying the unification of two types of college programs - vocational and fine arts. The architectural design team successfully met the requirements for a state-of-the-art, high-tech learning environment. The building offers computer rooms, student services, dining space and conference areas that provide a centralized resource area for students, visitors and the community.This facility represents the new direction in higher education learning, an environment that allows students access to high-tech information and exposure to a collaborative learning process.
