This six-story, 150,000 sf courthouse was designed to be part of a campus of county buildings. With its monumental size and classical portico, the building’s prominence reflects its civic stature and is the focal point of the adjacent public plaza. The courthouse’s central corridor extends from the plaza through a large entry lobby with a security checkpoint. Various court departments line the main corridor. A two-story atrium links the new building with the old courthouse, which has been remodeled
into county offices.
