The Hopkins Police Department addition and renovation project will fully update an undersized and inefficient space. A new reception area is being added to the southwest corner of the building. The existing building is being remodeled to meet space objectives of a separate public, police and inmate space. The new plan provides for better circulation, enlarged dispatch center and evidence room, new training, meeting rooms, sally port, and additional interview rooms. The primary Emergency Operations Center will also be relocated to the renovated space.
