Once abandoned and scheduled for demolition, the restored 1893 Landmark Center now provides office and program space for major cultural organizations to the City of Saint Paul.The design solution involved installation of new plumbing, HVAC, electrical and sprinkler systems without altering original spaces, ceilings, floors and partitions. New fire stairs and elevators were also added.During all stages of design and construction, the firm paid special attention to the preservation and restoration of existing decorative finishes. The detailing of all new finishes matches or complements the original building.
