Collaborative Design Group is providing Planning and Design services for the Minnesota Air Guard Historical Foundation’s Minnesota Museum of Aviation. Building on the success of the existing museum, this exciting new campus will feature a museum incorporating the foundation’s extensive collection of historic and modern aircraft in a dynamic display environment; interpretive exhibits; visiting exhibitions ; restoration facilities; a research center incorporating state-of-the-art library and archive spaces; observation and listening decks; a café, gift shop, and theater; and the aviation learning center. The site is adjacent to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport runways, allowing fly-in access for air-worthy historic and or unique visiting planes.
