Collaborative Design Group was the lead development architect and structural engineer for the site, building shell and parking garage. The development includes restoring and redeveloping the vacant landmark into a mixed use development of housing, hotel, office, retail and restaurant use along with an International Market. CDG’s involvement includes assessment and restoration of the building facade, and modifications necessary to add elevators, atriums, skylights and other alterations for tenant use. Midtown Exchange has created a presence that speaks to a multicultural and multi-generational community, through a unique combination of amenities and businesses. When the building is placed into service, it will be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
