As a transitional family residence, the Ramsey County Family Service Center offers a homelike setting for families in need of short-term assistance. The building interioris organized into both public and private areas. An entry lobby, reception area and administrative offices form the initial public space inside the main entrance. Other public areas include the congregate dining/meeting room, the children’s learning center, and the adults’ housing/job search center. The private portion of the building is composed of 21 sleeping rooms with individual bathrooms to accommodate up to 55 residents.
