The RiverCentre Parking Ramp provides parking for 1,700 cars and skyway connections to the existing RiverCentre and new NHL Hockey Arena.CDG’s role in the renovation and restoration of the project was to upgrade the eight-level, 600,000 sf ramp to modern standards. The enhancements involve several items including structural restoration, lighting upgrades, a security system addition, traffic and revenue control system upgrade, and signage improvements. The major portion of improvements to be provided to the original 1969 parking ramp is structural restoration in the form of concrete repair, tendon replacement, waterproofing, expansion joints, as well as upgrading the overall safety and security of the ramp for users.
