The Smith Avenue Transit Center is part of a larger transportation and parking network improvement plan to make downtown Saint Paul an attractive destination to both visitors and employees. Collaborative Design Group developed a project that will provide 600 public parking spaces, a bus layover facility for Metro Transit and charter buses, a comfortable and secure environment for event goers, pedestrians, parking patrons and bus customers within a convenient walk to Saint Paul’s businesses and entertainment venues.
