St. Paul Residence is a 120 unit facility, divided into two wings, serving two different segments. St. Paul Residence provides 60 units of permanent supportive housing for men who have experienced homelessness for a year or more and have barriers that may include: mental health issues, chemical dependency, criminal history and low income. It also provides 60 units of permanent housing for late stage chronic alcoholic men. The facility includes support services for the residents including independent living skills training, assistance with medication monitoring, on-site psychologist, employment services and community integration. The project was developed by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul and is operated by Catholic Charities.
