A comprehensive utilization study of all academic areas
was conducted to quantify the needs and facility resources of each department on campus. Current and
expected instructional modalities were considered. From this carefully defined statement
of academic needs, a facility response was developed. This Master Plan indicated
strategies to meet present and future needs, and provided guidelines to ensure that
new development (or renovation work) would not compromise the essential quality of
the University's grounds and facilities.
